Cover photo Inconsistencies

I have been experiencing issues with setting the cover photo. When I select a cover photo using the first slide option, it doesn't fully cover the entire screen. Additionally, when I choose the "Fill player Frame' option, the photo becomes oversized and extends beyond the frame. I would appreciate guidance on how to resolve these issues to ensure the cover photo fits properly.

  • Hello Jose,

    Thank you for your response.

The project's resolution has remained consistent over time. The template has been in use for an extended period and has generally performed well until recent issues emerged. I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

      Hello KazeemSalau-c04,

Thanks for the additional information. I'm happy to check if this is indeed a bug. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case for testing? Please include a raw copy of your cover photo image file. We'll delete them when we're done testing!

  • Hello KazeemSalau-c04,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like the resolution of your cover photo doesn't match your project's slide size. Have you tried changing your Storyline 360 project size to match the resolution of your cover photo to see if this improves how the cover photo is shown? Alternatively, you can also resize your cover photo to match your slide size, but you may need to use a third-party application to do this.
