Menu Tabs Missing After Latest Update

After updating Storyline today to the latest build, the menu tabs at the top of the screen have disappeared. The only three tabs visible are File, Slides, and Help (pictured in the attachments). The Home, Animation, Transitions and context-based tabs such as Format are missing.

There is no longer anywhere to add new content or adjust existing content. Is this intended in the new build? Is there somewhere else to access the tools that used to be available from the menu tabs? I've tried closing and reopening Articulate Storyline, but the tabs are still missing. Appreciate any help!

  • Rolling back to the previous build (April 29 version 3.99.34516.0) fixed the issue.

Update 100 worked fine for me.  You may have just had a corrupt install.  Might be worth another try

Thanks for the idea, Ron! I tried reinstalling the newest build as suggested in case it was a corrupt install. However the second install must have been corrupted too as it is still missing the Home, Animations, Design, Transitions, View tabs (etc.) I have rolled back to the previous build, and the tabs are back, so I'll stick with the previous build for now.

I have the same exact issue after today's update. Just uninstalled and reinstalled, but still don't have menus other than File, Slides, and Help.

Hi neeleysc, I have a few questions to help us troubleshoot:

        1. Are the menus missing for all projects? How about File -> New projects?
        2. Does the menu show up after opening a project and then go away at some point (like after using Preview)?
        3. Are you using a Virtual Machine (if so, are you on a Mac)?
