I am the original owner of a storyline project but I now have a new laptop since making the training. The old training is saved in my files as a SCORM compressed zip file. The Storyline file does not appear in the "browse for more..." option or the "recent" option on Storyline. Is there a way to continue to open this file in StoryLine360?7Views0likes0CommentsShared Question Banks Issues
Our team recently worked on a question bank in Rise360, but all of us had difficulty logging in questions simultaneously. For instance, some of us would share a question from a Rise360 module to the question bank and others would access the question bank link directly. Unfortunately, when all of us try to log questions in a shared question bank at the same time, we encounter an error stating "Error occurred! Please try again." Our current work around is to allocate specific time for individuals to log questions. Is there a way for multiple users to log questions in a question bank at the same time or is this a current limitation?13Views0likes1CommentIssue with Team Course Sharing
Hi everyone, I've tried troubleshooting this on my own but haven't had any luck, so I'm hoping someone can advise. I manage a team and have assigned all available seats under the team name. However, when I try to share courses via the team folder and select "Everyone," the staff members who have seats assigned aren't able to see the courses. Has anyone encountered this before or know what might be causing the issue? Thanks in advance!26Views0likes4CommentsRotation of an object around a fixed point
Hi everybody. I'm a totally new user of Storyline. On my storyline project, I need to create an effect of rotation on one object, which is a manual lever. On the attached picture, we can see the lever, that at final the trainee should move from the position A to the position B, around a rotation point, with an approximative rotation of 90°. The constraints: - The trainee must use the mouse to slide the lever from position A to position B. - The movement should be around the blue rotation point in the photo. - I must be able to mark the beginning and end of the action that conditions the actions that will follow. A very funny effect for a game, but I don't know how I can do that! Do somebody can help me? please 😥 Best regards Florent198Views0likes6CommentsTranslating closed captions in Rise with localization
I am experimenting in Rise with the new localization feature, but I'm struggling to have the closed captions in the video automatically translated. The course is translated into 4 different languages. I've added a new chapter to each translated course, included a video, and added the closed captions (as a vtt file). However, after re-translating the course, the closed captions remain in the same, original language. This article mentions adding closed captions to the video before translating the course. Is it also possible to apply localization to closed captions after they have been added to an already translated course? Thanks, MerelRise feature request: multiple block selection
Hi all, I'd love to see a new feature in Rise: the ability to select multiple blocks at once and then move or copy them as a group. Right now, adjusting the layout of a longer lesson can be quite time-consuming, since you have to move each block one at a time. The idea is simple: You select several blocks (for example: a text block, an image block, and a video block) Then you can move them up or down together, or copy and paste them as a group This would make editing and reorganizing lessons much faster and easier Let me know if others are also missing this feature or if maybe there’s already a smart workaround I’ve missed! Please upvote if you need this feature as well! Thanks, Thom10Views0likes0CommentsStoryline's 100th Release
Articulate hit an important milestone recently that we wanted to share with you—we've hit our 100th month of Storyline releases 🎉 That means that for 100 months running, we’ve shipped updates to our products, from small UI enhancements and bug fixes to big, net-new features like text-to-speech and 360 degree images. (You can check out our entire release history, including the features in our 100th release, here). This community is an absolutely crucial part of how we got here, and we wanted to celebrate with you. Our team put together this video we wanted to share celebrating this shared achievement: You’ve generously shared your kind words about Articulate, and how it supports your work in the E-Learning industry, for us to include in this video. But, we wanted to make sure to also tell you how much we love you. Here’s what our product team had to say about how working with this community supported these releases: "It has been a true pleasure collaborating with our customers through the private beta program over the past seven years. I am continually impressed by the innovative ways they leverage Storyline! Assisting them in overcoming project challenges has significantly enhanced my own understanding of the product, and I am thankful for the opportunity to partner with them in improving our features for all users. I would especially like to acknowledge AndreasNeuberg, PhilMayor, GaryBaldock1, TracyParish, and many others for their active participation in our Beta program." - Vanessa Fage, Staff QA Engineer & Quality Lead “For years, our customers have been instrumental in shaping accessibility, from helping refine the Accessible Player to influencing new features like the Accessibility Checker in Storyline 360. Through user research, early access testing, beta testing, and feedback, you've helped ensure a smoother experience for creating accessible content. A heartfelt thank you to all our customers who shared their insights, with special recognition to DianeElkins, MelanieSobie-14, DonnaWestwood, MartinBrown-1ab, RayeShilen, LoicBENARD, MadalinaMano183, AndreasNeuberg, and many others!” - Ronnie Pilman, CPACC, Senior QA Engineer II & Accessibility Lead “Recently we’ve been inviting customers to get early access to new features, and it’s been incredibly valuable to hear your feedback earlier and more often throughout the development process. Your input has directly shaped how these features look and function, helping us build features that truly meet your needs. A big thank you to all who participated—especially GregoryFauchill, jeff-batt, MathNotermans-9, PhilMayor, rachelatkaiser, and HarriS for their active participation & feedback on the new JavaScript API & corner radius feature.” - Annie Kim, Storyline Product Manager Is there a time when you remember participating with us to improve Storyline? Did you take part in a beta program, suggest a feature that got turned into a real part of our product, or take part in a user interview? Let us know in the comments. Psst—we know we've come a long way, and we still have a long way to go! We wanted to share that this year, we're investing in making our product feedback cycles in this community even better. Look out for improvements to our product ideation boards and beta programs in the coming quarters.371Views6likes9CommentsText to Speech
I’ve been a long-time user of Articulate, starting from Articulate 1, and I must say I’m really happy with the improvements and updates in Storyline 360. The tool has evolved beautifully, and it continues to support my eLearning projects effectively. However, I’d like to share some feedback about the Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature. While it’s great that this tool is available for free, the audio quality is not satisfactory. Whenever I use it, I consistently receive comments from SMEs and clients pointing out that the voice sounds clearly machine-generated and lacks the natural tone of a human voice. Additionally, the pronunciation of certain words is often incorrect, which affects the learning experience and credibility of the course. I kindly request the team to enhance the TTS feature by: Improving voice quality Providing more realistic, human-sounding voice options Adding better pronunciation handling This would make a big difference for developers like me who rely on built-in tools for rapid development. Thank you for your continued innovation—looking forward to future improvements! Thank you, Pravin Dixit36Views0likes3Comments
