Quite often when I am building out a module in rise, I create an awesome block/s within a lesson. But as I go on building and restructuring the module, the block/s or section better sit within another lesson in the same rise course. Currently, there is no way to copy or move blocks from one lesson to another - meaning I have to completely rebuild the blocks in the other lesson and delete from the original lesson. (The workaround, I think, is to save them as a template, insert the template into the other lesson, then delete the template, and delete from the original lesson). Can there be a function created that allows you to copy or move blocks to another lesson within the course without having to use the template workaround?87Views6likes3CommentsEU AI ACT - Automated Label "AI Generated" in Rise etc.
Hello everyone, We had a webinar from a European reseller today regarding the EU AI Act which is now being rolled out gradually in the EU. Among other things, it was also about the fact that we as e-learning designers will be obliged in future to label any content we have created with AI. My consideration for the optimization of Articulate would be that there is an automatic label that when the AI Assistant has been used, an automatic indication is made by e.g. Articulate Rise in e-learning that content has been created with it. That would be really helpful for European users. Perhaps you could pass this on to your development team. Perhaps in the options “Would you like to indicate that content was created with AI YES/NO. It's not quite sure yet whether an overarching label for the course as a whole is sufficient or whether each block created with AI needs to be labeled. But an overarching label would be helpful from my opion in the frist place. Best regards.37Views2likes1CommentCopy courses to other courses
Articulate has the tool the enables content in course to be copied to another course, this function tool would be awesome for a course to be copied into another course. When creating compliance courses there is content that is similar to each other, and it would be great if I was able to select that specific course and add it to another or new course content. It would save a lot of time instead of me having to copy and paste this to the new course or creating the same content in the existing course over to the new course.9Views0likes0CommentsExport Recordings/Videos as GIFs in Replay
We use GIFs a lot to show navigation and functionality for different products. It would significantly improve the workflow if Replay could export recordings directly into a GIF format. Using other third-party software to convert the MP4 files is time consuming - especially when a lot of GIFs need to be created/updated. This feature could be as simplistic as an "Export GIF" button which prompts the user to crop the video, select a save destination, and then proceed with the export.32Views2likes1CommentAuto-Tabbing
I use Storyline to do a lot of software simulation. I need the ability to trigger the next entry field automatically when the user hits the character limit of the pervious field without having to press a button to remove focus from one and set focus to the other. I've been looking for this for years and the only solutions I can find are javascript, and I don't understand how to make it work. I know other people also want this feature. Hi Articulate Team and everyone! I regularly build courses on Rise 360 and love how simple and intuitive it is. However, I think it would be great to be able to preview the interface on your phone while editing, instead of having to publish and check it manually. This would save time and ensure the content displays properly on all devices. Does anyone else have the same need? Thanks for reading!11Views1like1CommentAdding an angle option in format for shapes like Parallelogram, triangle, etc.
Currently, when working with shapes like parallelograms or triangles, which have angles, as well as image-based shapes, it can be challenging to maintain consistency throughout the course. If Articulate included an angle option in the format tab, alongside height and width, it would make it much easier for developers to work with these shapes and image-based shapes.35Views0likes2CommentsCourse Results stay with user if moving teams
We have team members moving teams regularly and once you take them out of the team, if the course was allocated via the team it removes the course from the user profile. This result should stay with them even if they move teams. Workaround is not assign courses via teams, but would be good to have the option to allocate via a team.31Views0likes2CommentsAllow Rewind Function on Restricted Timelines
As a rule, due to the nature of our business and contracts with unions, we must ensure that our learners are watching the full slide or video without fast forwarding through the content, but the restricted timeline does not allow rewinding or jumping back a few seconds (5 or 10) or to any point previously viewed until the entire video or slide has completed. This is extremely frustrating for our learners as a slight distraction could mean missing an important concept or content until possibly the end of the 15 minute video when they would then be able to drag the seekbar back. Requests have come in to also adjust the replay icon to allow small segments of time on that icon (which does not seem to work on a restricted seekbar w the slide set to resume saved state - another issue).Solved105Views12likes6Comments
