I am looking for an easier work around for this issue as I have been using this method a long time and and it seems a bit daft to do it this way so if there is an easier way, please let me know. So, I have 4 buttons on a slide. Each button when clicked, opens a layer, so 4 buttons, 4 layers. The main slide has a hidden continue button so the users but click on ALL 4 buttons, and then close the layer. When the user clicks on the close button for each layer a Variable is changed from False to True, wo when all four layers are closed all 4 variables are now set to true. When all of the variables are true then the Continue button shows. To do this I have to create four sets of the trigger conditions shown below. This works but its a bit overkill? My issue is , is that the trigger setup is not fit for this purpose, as it only works if the variable changes based the specific variable, so 4 combinations have to be created due to the limited ""When variable Changes". It shouldn't only be when it changes as it doesn't always change. The logical correct trigger would be: Set state of Button1 - "Continue" to Normal When disclose1 = True and disclose2 = True and disclose3 = True and disclose4 = True No condition that the variable has to change for the trigger to work, as the variable may already have changed and so it wont work. It was also suggested to use the "When the timeline starts" but that only works of it is coming from a different slide, but the timeline has already started when using layers. Any logical workable solutions instead?24Views0likes4CommentsUnexpected "Yes/No" Prompt in SCORM Output from Storyline 360
Problem When publishing and uploading SCORM packages created in Articulate Storyline 360, some of my users are encountering an intermittent green "Yes/No" prompt appearing at the start of their course on my LMS. This prompt is not referenced in the project settings (As far as I can see) and seems to occur regardless of the content or structure of the course. It has been observed across multiple projects of mine (but not all), suggesting the issue is not tied to a specific interaction. Whether I click "Yes" or "No," the project no longer works — unless I click "No," click to the "language selection" button (which takes you to a different slide), then close out. After that, the project works normally for everyone. If I test the project in my browser, this never appears. But as soon as I upload it to a fresh course in my LMS, it shows up — so I can never reproduce it during testing. I initially thought it was the resume functionality, but this looks different. Hello. I have some problems with completion behaviors in Scorm 2004. I have a scorm with Passed/incompleted. It saves fine and close the course with Passed, but when I access again in a review mode mark the course as incompleted. For instance if I relaunch the course, and then immediately exit, SCORM Cloud and moodle displays the Completion value as "incomplete" I tested it in Scorm cloud and moodle. Someone with this issues. ThanksHow to Remove Only Certain Playback Speed Options (e.g., 1.75x and 2x) from the Storyline Player?
Hi everyone, I'm working on a Storyline project and would like to customize the playback speed options in the built-in player. Specifically, I want to remove only the 1.75x and 2x speed options, while keeping the slower speeds (1x, 1.25x, 1.5x) available for learners. I’ve tried using JavaScript triggers to manipulate the speed control but had no luck. I also looked through the published output (frame.js, etc.), but couldn’t locate any editable section where the speed options are defined. Has anyone managed to: Customize or limit the available playback speed options? Successfully edit the published output to remove specific speeds? Use any alternative method to achieve this? Any guidance, workarounds, or examples would be much appreciated!Solved165Views0likes6CommentsStoryline 360 Pros — What’s Your Favorite “Hidden Gem”? 💎
As someone who’s spent a lot of time working with (and on!) Storyline 360, I’ve come to appreciate the power in the little things — those lesser-known features that quietly make our lives easier. Here's one of my personal favorites: 🎧📽️ Cue Points with the “C” Key: I recently spoke with a customer who struggled to time trigger actions to audio and video media on their slides. They would preview the slide, make note of when a trigger should be fired, then return to slide authoring view to add a cue point to the timeline to tie into the trigger event. This would require a lot of manual back-and-forth between authoring and previewing. I often have to do the same thing, and there is an easier way. If you use stage preview (accessible via the "Play" icon" in the lower-left corner of the Timeline panel), Storyline will stay in the slide authoring view and play the timeline of the slide, including any audio or video media that's present. As it plays, you can press the "C" key on your keyboard to have cue points added to the current playback position. It’s a simple way to place cue points in real time, right where they’re needed — perfect for syncing trigger actions to specific moments in your media. cting Storyline 360's UI and using the "C" key to drop cue points on the timeline. Now I’m curious: What’s your favorite under-the-radar Storyline feature? Something small, subtle, maybe even a little obscure — but that you personally couldn’t live without. Drop it in the comments — I’d love to learn what little gems you rely on. 👇78Views3likes7CommentsCard Sort with multiple rounds
Hi! I'm trying to crate a card sort (or drag and drop) activity in Storyline with multiple rounds so the cards that are selected in round 1, link to a 2nd round, and so on. Example: A values activity where learners sort values based on what's important to them. Once they pick their top 10 cards, I want the next round to take those 10 that they chose and prompt them again to sort them. Thanks in advance for your help!57Views0likes3CommentsBuilt in font substitution Inter in Rise. Why??
Wondering why custom theme (customer branding) fonts are substituted for Inter in some Rise blocks like the process block? I'm told it's Articulate's UI font - but it's not what the customer ordered... Shouldn't the User get the Interface font they want?47Views0likes4Comments
